Do you want to feel language?
Everything we experience comes through our senses: sight, hearing, touch & feeling, smell and taste. How often do we take the time to really notice?
Here's exciting news about a great event coming up on Sunday, October 25th – one you will remember for years. For students, you’ll increase your language ability. For teachers, it will also provide many activities you can use in your classroom. For everyone, you’ll experience sensory awareness.

Half the participants will be blindfolded while the other half will be guides. This event will take you past the usual level – the blindfolds will be on for nearly five hours!
You’ll experience and learn a lot:
- Recognizing voices
- Smells – awareness and imagination
- Tastes – across all five senses
- An indoor picnic – like never before
- Trust walk – listen and see with your partner’s eyes
- Drawing –involving all the senses
- Music –in your mind, body and heart
- Dance - creative movement
- Guided visualization/ imagery
All this and more!
Why participate?
Students: A great chance for real communication. Fine tune your senses to get more from classes (and life).
Teachers: Improve your communication skills and focus (regardless of your first language.)
Everyone:
- Learn to get more out of life.
- When one sense is missing, the others get stronger (compensation strategies).
- Make new friends.
- A day of challenge, learning and fun!
