Life without a sense of smell

Last week I attended the Shizuoka University orientation for International exchange students. I was there to promote the Sensory language event.I really enjoyed meeting so many interesting students from all over the world. One of those interesting students was a young man from Germany who has since birth not had any sense of smell. He said that because he was born that way it wasn't something that he had missed. I would like to ask him more questions about that the next time we meet.
